The base notes are Incense, Papyrus, Ambergris, Benzoin and Amber. As with the original its the Cinnamon and Cardamom that really give the fragrance its overall vibe, but the added Incese and Papyrus give the fragrance a new, darker edge on the dry down. That darker edge gives it a rather unique feel, and distances it from the original LEau dIssey Pour Homme.
