The fragrance opens up with top notes of Sour Cherry, Bitter Almond and Liquor; the middle notes consist of more Sur Cherry, Plum, Turkish Rose and Jasmine Sambac. The base consist of Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Peru Balsam, Benzoin, Cinnamon, Sandalwood, Cedar, Cloves, Vetiver and Patchouli. The The top notes combine to create a boozy cherry liquor, with a sour, nuttiness to it. As it dries down it remains cherry syrup, with the nuts and woody notes acting as a good balance. Its sweet, sophisticated and gives off a vibe of opulence and confidence. Given the heavy booziness of the scent this is particularly good in Autumn and Winter.
