Launched in 1998 Splendor is an amber floral fragrance for women from Elizabeth Arden. The fragrance, created by James Krivda, features top notes of Hiacynth, Wisteria, Freesia, Peony, Sweet Pea, Apple, Bergamot and Pineapple. In the heart the fragrance becomes even more floral, with notes of Lily of the Valley, Lily, Jasmine, Magnolia, Tea Rose, Rose, Orchid and Poppy. The base notes consisted of more woody tones as Musk and Amber are partnered up with Sandalwood, Cedar, Dark Woodsy Notes and Brazilian Rosewood. The florals make the fragrance have an amazing Spring vibe, and it feels like the fragrance is best suited to the time of the year when the flowers begin to blood, though even in colder and hotter weather the fragrance performs well, and gives off a fresh, clean vibe. As well as being clean and fresh the fragrance is feminine, its beautiful and soft, and completely inoffensive,, making it great for the office as well as a day out in spring.
